How does the Social Security System (SSS) really determine the loanable amount that a member can apply for and what are the standard basis if there is for an SSS salary loan? These are just some of the frequently asked questions by a member before they apply for a loan in the SSS. Below are a few pointers based on the standards set by the SSS and may also be found in their official website.

1. A one-month salary loan is equivalent to the average of the member’s latest 12 monthly credits posted.
2. A two-month salary loan is equivalent to twice the average of the member’s latest 12 monthly salary credits posted (rounded to the next higher monthly salary credit), but not to exceed P24,000.

  tanong ko lng po, may Loan payment po kami na hindi po na post Last May 2012 pa,hindi po namin na check kung not posted pla iyon.Nagtaka po kami nung nag loan kami ulit mga 1 year after na fully paid yong loan namin pati yung iba kong kasama nang ma received namin yong check, may deduction dun sa amt loan granted. Ano pong gagawin namin para po ma offset po yong payment namin kasi ngka interes na po. Paano nmn yong iba na after na fully paid yong loan nila, hindi na ng loan ulit, mas tataas po yong penalty na papatak..

  Gud morning po tanong ko lang po nong 1st loan ko po sa SSS ay 10,000 noong 2015
  Pero nong nag 2nd loan po ako ngaung 2018 bakit po 12,000 lang po na loan ko sa SSS ang baba naman po dba..
