   I have heard that there is condemnation of penalty charges for the interest for loans not paid for more than a year. I would like to know if this is correct. I would like to avail of it so that I can pay the remaining amount of my due. My SSS number is 06-1683822-6.

    Delinquency Interest

    1. If a member fails to pay the SSS loan amortization remittance on due date, the said loan shall bear a penalty of 1% per month which is called the delinquency interest.

    *** pls clarify, the 1% per month refers to the loaned amount? or 1% of the monthly amortizations?

    It is clear po as mentioned na “the said loan” which means that it is the principal loan we are talking about. What is odd however is that the interest you pay will be included in the principal amount as you fail to pay on time and on due date. So be sure to pay right on time and on or before the due date.

    i just want to ask po kung pano po pag nawala ung resibo ng sss loan, babayaran ko po b ulit un? and magkano po ba ung exact amount na babayaran ko? month po na february ang nawala at umalis na po ung empleyado ng month ng march, 481.25 po ang monthly amortization nya..tnnx

    Ruby,
    Hihingi ka lang ng copy ng resibo na nawala kung naifile mo na ang said receipt pero kung hindi pa, saang bank ka ba nagbayad, pwede ka hingi ng copy sa kanila or kung saan ka nagbayad na authorized SSS payment center.

    Ruby,
    hindi mo hihingin ang original na resibo sa bangko,,, kailangan mo lang ng kopya or photocopy nito sabihin mo sa teller na kausap mo. At yung issue ng hindi nagpapareceive e di pumunta na lang po kayo sa ibang branch kung saan nagrereceive kasi po wala pong ibang way e kung hindi ang ma-receive ang resibo nyo para malaman nila na paid na nga kayo.
