With this benefit of a regular paying member who is currently employed, you will get paid via SSS check by which you can encash in any government bank. Before, it was PNB that allows this type of service. Please ask in your nearest SSS branch about this matter if you are to avail or apply for SSS sickness benefit.
Please do note that you can only enjoy this benefit if you are currently employed because it will be your employer who will pay for your daily cash allowance through the Social Security System office by check issuance.
