    Dear Sir (SSS),

I am Vergel S. Regencia with SSS# 03-3312754-0, a retired employee, twice, in 1990 (San Miguel Corp. 15 years) and in 2000 (Phil; Bobbin Corp. 10 years ) I have applied for pension and was given only PhP2,400 monthly and a lump sum of its equivalent for 18 months.
I have had several encounters with other pensioners with a higher benefits than me who were of lower job levels at the time of their retirement and retired earlier than me, shorter employment than me.
In this regards, please, may I ask your kind clarification why this is so. Maybe there was a mis-computation or anything that may cause this. And I am now asking your kind also to make a re-computation of my contributions and benefits for my understanding.
Thank you very much for your time. I am from Sta. Rosa, Laguna, and if ever it is necessary to visit your office, I will do it to make my point.

    Best regards,

    Vergel S. Regencia

hello SSS Philippines! Just a couple of questions I need to ask from your end. If a member who lives abroad and has renounced his Filipino Citizenship but continues to pay his SSS contribution as a voluntary member, I’m sure he will get his SSS pension and other benefits when he reaches pension age? I have heard some hearsays that if a member is no longer a Filipino Citizen, he won’t be able to apply for his retirement pension, even though he has continued to pay for his contributions till he has reached his retirement age. Can you please enlighten me for this one because we are a bit concerned about it? I am hoping for your immediate attention to this query and I expect a reply from you thru my e-mail. Thank you very much!

Sana po may programa ang ating gobyerno for OFW sa pagbigay ng option to increase their contribution. That’s the only way na makapagsave and makikita ng ating mga ofw ang kanilang bunga sa pagsisikap .In fairness naman po 15600 lang ang max na sweldo ang nakalagay as of this time.Parang 25yrs ago pa po yon. May kakayanan naman ang ating mga OFW to put in more kung pagbigyann talaga ng tuon ng gobyerno. Thanks! Im one of the OFW na interested po .Max of 5t/ month to 10t optional po whoever is interested.

    Re: SSS No. 03-2275-180-4

    To whom this may concern:

I am 65 yrs old, widow, 7 yrs retiree and receiving a monthly pension amounting to P9,700.00+ since 2006. I earned a monthly contribution of barely 444 months from my former employer THE INTERNATIONAL RICE RESEARCH INSTITUTE. I tried to inquire from your Calamba Branch Office if I could avail of a lump sum to start a business for the future and benefit of my only child, but I was informed that I can not.
My question is, what if my life spam (knock on wood) be in the next 8 yrs , what will happen to my remaining hard earned contribution which is 348 months ( i’ve been receiving a monthly pension for 96 months now). Will my 31 yr old son still benefit out of it when I’m gone?
Your kind assistance will be very much appreciated.

    Sincerely yours,

    Mrs. Zenaida M. Belarmino

  • Alma says:

Is survivor received the same amount from sss when beniciary died.

  • Dyna Oguan says:

Good day. I have some concerns regarding the SSS maternity benefits. I went to the nearest SSS office to apply for the said benefit but the SSS officer told me that I am not qualified to file because it is already my 6th pregnancy and was told that only until 4th pregnancy are qualified to this claim. My concern is I have NEVER APPLIED before for the said benefits for the reason that I am always having a hard time to get up from bed during the first trimester of my pregnancy. Unfortunately, among the pregnancies that I hadother 4 miscarriages and I only have 1 child living and am currently pregnant with my 6th pregnancy.

With the above condition, I hope that SSS officials will consider to review the policy that they made as for only the first 4 pregnancies are qualified to claim for maternity benefits, instead, they should change it to upto 4 CLAIMS ONLY are qualified for this benefits IRREGARDLESS of the number of pregnancies a member may have because it would be unfair on our part who never had the chance to enjoy this benefit yet are paying our monthly contributions religiously.

I am hoping that this matter be given attention by SSS administration.

    Thank you.
