How does the Social Security System (SSS) really determine the loanable amount that a member can apply for and what are the standard basis if there is for an SSS salary loan? These are just some of the frequently asked questions by a member before they apply for a loan in the SSS. Below are a few pointers based on the standards set by the SSS and may also be found in their official website.
- A one-month salary loan is equivalent to the average of the member’s latest 12 monthly credits posted.
- A two-month salary loan is equivalent to twice the average of the member’s latest 12 monthly salary credits posted (rounded to the next higher monthly salary credit), but not to exceed P24,000.

ask q lang po if pwede aq maka avail ng calamity loan kahit kakafully paid q lng ng salary loan q last april 2009 thrue condonation program binaha po kc kami lagpas tao grabe.. sabi po kc after 2yrs. daw po ulit aq makakaavail ng salary loan after q mafully paid ung salary loan q thrue condonation program need q po kc almost 10years napo contributions q sa sss kung updated po ang paghuhulog ng company namin sana po makavail aq ng calamity loan pls reply me tnx……….

tanong q lang po kng magcontinue po me ng sss sa abroad kc po na stop po ung contribution q nong nagwork na po me sa abroad takot namn po me magcontribute sa mga embassy baka po d makarating sa main ng sss sa pilipinas ,ang tanong q po ito

sir i work on January 01 2005 and already had my first loan 2 years ago and during that time i i paid my sss dues without fail,until i resigned last October of 2009 can i qualify for a loan in which i stop my sss payment since then,and how much can i loan in amount.
