OFW Housing Loanable Amount
That first question that you’ll probably ask the SSS on your way to apply for a housing loan is how much is the loanable amount? This post basically answers that question in the easiest to understand exact figures as you can see when you try to search for how you can make a housing loan with the Social Security System if you are an overseas Filipino worker (OFW).
To be exact, the maximum loanable amount for an OFW is P1,000,000.00 or whichever is the lowest of the amount applied for, the amount justified by the paying capacity, the loan value of the collaterals as determined by the SSS.
See the actual breakdown from which you can base your expected loanable amount from the SSS when you apply or get approved at the same time. Know your rights as a member by visiting us regularly or at least subscribing to our feeds below this post.
