A frequently asked question about SSS salary loan may also be – When can a member renew his/her salary loan with the SSS?
Basically, any form of loan from the SSS may only be renewed if you have paid in full, the loan amount including all forms of interest and surcharges. Mind you however that even if there are set amounts for any loan with regards to payment, there is no limit for the amount you want to be deducted from your salary which will go to the payment of your SSS loan.
The above statement means that you can actually pay a higher loan amortization or deduction if you want or intend to get paid and rid yourself from your loan earlier than your expected payment terms. But also remember that if the term says 2 years, then you will have to wait 2 years before you can make another loan or loan renewal.
However, it is always good to get paid earlier than the set date of payment because you can immediately make another loan application even before the date of full payment stated in the terms of your SSS loan.
Another special point you need to know about is that if the loan is scheduled to be paid within 2 years time, then after that, you can or is already allowed to renew your SSS loan. Balance of P500 or less shall be deducted from the proceeds of the new loan.
Hi, I wanted to clarify my existing SSS personal loan (dated June 2007) with your branch (SSS Pasay – Roxas Boulevard). Based on the company’s record where I work, I have fully paid my personal loan. But verifying it on the postings I see at your SSS website, it shows that I still have a missing payment (1 month payment dated May 2008). I appeal to your good office to please check on this matter. nagloan ako last april 29, 2009 pero til now di pa rin narelease kc lumalabas my remaining balance pa ako sa past salary loan pero totaly paid na ko nagpast na rin ako ng mga document nagpatunay na fully paid na ko, i do know na wat happen kc til now di pa rin narelease, nagpafollow-up ako lagi reason sira ang computer almost 3 mos. lagi sira computer. wat the reason?
